Ive had my truck for about 3 months now and for some reason today I just noticed my oil pressure jumping all around as I drove. I thought it was weird then my wife text me to say there was oil in the driveway today too. Any thoughts? Is this normal? While moving I'm at 60, slowing down its about 45, and stopped its 30.

Oil pumps variable. The magic number I thought i heard for low pressure which could damage the afm dfm lifter is 27 or something.

mine often does go down to 30 and seems normal.

if you’re losing oil that’s another story. Check the dipstick

Normal.

Oil pump is a dual stage variable displacement pump.

Oil on the ground?  Not normal.  Could be something simple like a loose oil filter or bad filter gasket, oil cooler lines however have failed on these.  The crimps start to leak.

Yea my 5.3 oil pressure is all over the place, over 60psi when driving with cold oil. On a hot day and hot engine idling it will drop below 30 psi somewhere in the mid to upper 20's.
