Anti gel additive vs regen

Has anyone tried different additives to see how the truck reacts/regens?

 

I'm in need of adding something to keep the fuel from gelling and not sure what to get?

 

Power service and Howes is readily available or I was was thinking about ordering optilube winter. I already have the optilube XPD for my LML that only gets used in the summer but not sure that will be enough to keep fuel from gelling in Northern Il/Southern Wis winters?

 

This LM2 is my first experience with a diesel being driven in the winter.

I'd recommend the Amsoil All-in-one additive.  Never had any trouble with it in my LM2.

XPD is all I use, year round, in Nebraska. It got down to -12° last year and got along fine with number 2 and double dose.
