I have a blown L86 motor 2016 Silverado LTZ 175,000 miles. I bought a 6.2 L86 out of Cadillac escalade 2017 40,000 miles. Can I just plug this ecu in and go.

Use your original ECU, that way no programming required.

Well I guess I should have mentioned that I had a stage 3 cam and LS7 lifters and did delete with vvt delete. Really I'm just worried about vvt.

Yes you are going to need to get a tune. What about vvt are you worried about, you won't retain it.

I put the lock in the cam phaser. And I was worried if I started this engine with my ecu there could be problems

It will not run with the AFM delete and VVT lockout if it's un-tuned.

If your 2016 Silverado computer was already tuned for the AFM delete it may start and run. Probably will throw a bunch of faults if the VVT is gone though or it may refuse to start.

I don't think I'd drive it to a dyno but that is my opinion. Also most "stage 3" camshafts are kinda large and it will be kinda lazy without an aftermarket stall converter.
