2015 Canyon radio jumps

Have read hundreds of complaints about 2015 Canyon infotainment system jumping channels and display changes on its own while driving, very dangerous. My 27000 mile 2015 Canyon intermittently does this, have had it to the local dealer who promised $300 software upgrade would fix problems, it did not. Both radio screen and dash board intermittently changes, when failing (about 50% of driving time) it fails over and over constantly. Seems this has been a problem on GMC infotainment systems for sometime. Is there a valid, approved fix. Dealership says maybe $900 new touch screen unit, maybe wire harness or some ground. Fails in satellite, FM, phone and a/c on off flashes at times. Help.
