2015 Silverado 1500 rear camera message

When I put my truck into reverse my radio/camera display has a "service rear camera" message. This started about 5 months ago. At first, it would would only display the message on occasion, but now I am getting the message displayed just about every time I put the truck in reverse. I would say maybe once a month, once every 2 months it will work properly. I also realized my reverse lights also do NOT work when the message is displayed. Obviously there is a link. I was thinking module problem? Anyone have any helpful (repair) info? Or know where the module is or have a diagram? Thank you.

I have a similar issue...and my question is still unanswered. I would have to look at it one of these warmer days. Hope we can find a solution to the problem soon!!

here is the wiring for the camera and reverse lights, also if you have a trailer plug take it apart and make sure the connections are good
