Skid Plates for our HD's?

While doing an oil change on my recently acquired 2016 2500DH, I noticed the plastic "splash shield" was cracked and the plastic was broken around the 2 upper bolt holes. Instead of installing another plastic shield, I wanted to upgrade to skid plates. Something that offered more protection up front and underneath the front differential and transmission. Maybe even covers the cats  to prevent theft. I have searched up and down the internet, I cannot find anyone except for BDS who makes/sells skid plates for our trucks. The BDS is a nice unit, except it doesn't fully cover a lot of the front steering and drive components like the stock splash shield and it only goes under the front differential. 

 

Has anyone seen other options? I may have a buddy of mine fab something up if nothing else is available.

You could get GM ones.  I think the BDS would be the better buy, but I've looked into this stainless one and you can get the lower skid plate too, however I cant find that in stainless.

This is the OEM kit from GM for the skid plates for my 2015 2500HD. 

 

These are an easy install and way better then the plastic shields that come on these trucks
