Maybe Ford listened to my ranting...

Never been a fan of most Ford vehicles ... but I've always liked the late 70's Broncos. This new one is pretty sweet, imho!

I would not buy it as is, what matters is that Ford is toying with the idea of a two door SUV again, possibly one with a diesel, and that I like a lot. I HATE the current SUV lineup from Ford. It sucks, plain and simple. We need a Bronco again and the fact that Ford has built a concept one means that a toned down production one (hopefully with a manual transfer case and RWD when not in 4WD, unlike the concept) could be a remote possibility.

I had a mildly lifted '78 and a stock '88. d**n how I wish I had kept that '78!

I think I would buy this one (as it looks in the picture) as my "mid-life crisis" toy. Very nice, Paco, thanks for the pic!!!

Very Land Roverish looking. Without a doubt Ford drew ideas from Land Rover in this new design as they own LR.

Doesnt look horrible, but it doesnt win any beauty contests either. However it beats just about any japanese SUV in looks hands down.

Wow, there bringing back the bronco II. I wonder if it has that great TTB suspension.

TTB is better than IFS. Not perfect and not always easy to work on, but it's better than IFS. The weak point tended to be the stock Dana axles.

I thought DANA 44 axles were pretty tough axles. I dunno, but I'll be glad to see ford ditch the expedition and excursion (maybe even the explorer even though I like mine  ) and bring back the old Bronco. But you know it'll never live up to the 70s Bronco. Those were a TANK, plus with almost any carbuerated engine, you can find a supercharger to fit.. oh yeah boy
