A/C refrigerant 2003 Silverado

My a/c compressor isn't working in defrost setting, my windows are staying fogged up. Compressor will kick on then right back off. I think the refrigerant is low.  I was going to get a can and recharge but all I can find is the kind with the leak sealer in it. I have read not to use any with a sealer, and I have read it is OK. I am assuming that is all I can find it would be OK to use?

I buy this stuff from Napa, it's just straight R-134a with no sealers or nothing.

 

Would probably be wise to make sure the system is not low before just adding some, don't want to over charge it. The on/off could also be from a pressure sensor issue as well.

My Wally carries non sealant 134a. But as Cam noted, Napa or any parts house should have it
