Thanks. Yes, I removed the phone from the infotainment system, and I also removed the "my gmc" from my phone several times. maybe it will get better with time, or I'll have to get used to plugging it in all the time.
Good morning,
Is there a brake bleeding procedure for brake bleeding on the newer 2025-2026 Silverado 2500 HD trucks.
Recently i did a c8 corvette that gave us bunch of issues by not using a scan tool. To get the MPH limit warning away i had to disconnect the battery , pressure bleed with 30 psi into the reservoir. After the bleeding was done turn the Ignition on and held the brakes insanely hard for 10 seconds and the error went away. Stupid i know i have a autel scan tool now and can do a abs bleed if needed but is it required.
Can I do a traditional brake bleed could i simply disconnect both batteries and use my Matco pressure bleeder to flush out the oem fluid and replace with my favorite Castrol SRF.
What is the steps to properly to do a brake flush ( swapping out to much higher boiling point fluid Castrol SRF as all our race cars ) nothing is wrong with the brake system on the truck.
Much appreciated
Alex
My truck just had a recent s/w update. Before that my iPhone connected via BT every time. After the update, it connected sporadically. Seemed to NOT connect if the truck had been off a period of time. I think I cured the issue by having the phone forget the truck in the phone BT connection screen. Since I have re-paired the BT connection, my phone connects. You said that you "deleted the phone several times". I assume you mean in the infotainment screens. Maybe try it from the phone side to see if that helps. Just a thought.
This happens with anything.
As you stated all vehicles with have a failure rate of some kind. It is expected. I just don't want it to be mine
Failure should make things stronger.
Maybe AI will find weak points during design and help build better machines with less failure rate. (until it takes over)
