That’s fine, it’s your money. Some people do a disservice claiming it’s vital for longevity. When major manufacturers who have a reputation for making vehicles that last claim it’s not needed in most cases. It’s not like there’re in board meetings saying we don’t need longevity, screw it jack up the oil change intervals. Thereby actually making less money with less frequent trips to the service department for oil changes with less opportunity to up sell. And eventually losing their reputation because of extended oil changes. That’s just laughable.

costco oil is cheap.... so 3000-4000 OCI is the way to go
