Trying To Choose, Flashpaq F5 or Hypertech

I have a 2016 GMC Sierra SLT Crew Cab 4WD with a 5.3 8 speed and I really want to tune it so it responds to my foot, shifts tighter and turn off the AFM. I was reading a lot of opinions and figured I'd just as fellow owners.

His tune is really good on my 5.3/6 speed but he can't tune the 8 speeds.

Neither can Hypertech or Flashpaq so it's a moot point.

Finally an answer that states info. So neither will tune the truck?

They can tune the truck but they are not as good as a Diablo tune with a Lew custom on it. In fact from what I have heard about them I probably would not buy one anyways but different strokes for different folks I won't tell you which one to buy from here say. 

 

They CANNOT tune the trans. So changing shift points and doing some other things trans related is just not going to happen with any tuner. You would have to get HPTuners and an unlocked TCM iirc

"tune"?  Probably.  Well and properly?  No.

 

I have no experience with the DiabLew stuff, but my truck was custom dyno tuned by a well known local tuner to me.  Hands down worth the expense.
