I think hitting the house did it.

You'll notice the wheel-well is inside the house, if the wheel got yanked out via tow truck, that siding thats inside the wheel-well wouldn't be sitting there like it is.

I would think that it would be very difficult to pull that thing out of there without sliding the house out to the street while you're at it.

While on the subject of Dodge and stupid...

There is this empty lot near an intersection a couple miles from here where people abandon their cars. It isn't just a spot to put a for sale sign in the window, it isn't a spot where cars break down, it is where cars are abandoned/dumped for the parts hunters to attack. They usually get towed fairly quickly and I guess are auctioned off/junked depending on the condition. Anyway, someone abandoned a '00-'04 Dodge Neon! Now think about that, a car must REALLY SUCK to be abandoned when it can't be more than four years old! Most of the vehicles there are Chrysler products, many suprisingly new. There have been like three Neons abandoned there. There have been a handful of GMs and Fords, but none newer than about 20 years old. The Dodges/Chryslers rule the car dumping lot by far.
