Hey fellas and gals,

Got a 1984 C20 Custom Deluxe and have been making her roadworthy so I can put my tired '03 down for an engine OH.

Last weekend, I was lubing the suspension and could not for the life of me find a zerk for the carrier bearing. Is there a flush zerk that I should be searching for?

It concerns me because it is squeaking when the driveshaft is rotated. All I need is for the damned thing to seize up on me.

Any ideas short of replacement are much appreciated, but if R&R is the only cure, then so be it.

Thanks in advance.

I haven't seen a carrier bearing that you could grease. It's always been a R&R for me. Now the slip joint  where the 2 shafts meet should have a zerk

Thank you- yes, the slip joint has a zerk, but replacing that carrier bearing looks like a real pain.
