Not so sure I see a lot of benefit for the user aside from burning more fuel, not exactly an emission benefit.  Best we can hope is it makes the system last longer.

Go to the gm recall center online and enter your vin.  It should pull up the same info I copied here above for recall number N212354170.  You can print it out and take it with you.

I had mine updated in early June and could not be more disappointed.  When not towing I was getting 17-18 in mix of city and rural driving and now I am getting 14.5.  It is running a regen cycle twice

It makes since mpg is lower because you are using less Def. My mileage great but seems like uses a lot def. Considering getting the calibration and realize mpg will go down.
