Although this is an old post, I decided to join because it caught my attention.Thanks for sharing this vital recall information with us. It's always good to stay informed about these things, especially when it comes to emissions and environmental issues. Hopefully, the reprogramming will improve the operation of the regeneration cycle and help to reduce emissions. In addition, it's always a good idea to take preventative measures to maintain the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and avoid any potential problems by turning to the best dpf cleaners for professional services. Not so sure I see a lot of benefit for the user aside from burning more fuel, not exactly an emission benefit.  Best we can hope is it makes the system last longer.
