LED Reverse/Cargo light on tow mirror

I have a 2021 2500HD and the Cargo/Reverse light on the passenger side mirror quit working. Dealer told me the only way to fix it was with a new mirror at $1400 bucks. Does anyone know if there is a way to fix it with out a new mirror?  Thanks in advance!

You can just disassemble and replace the light yourself. I think you are looking for Part# 23444107 - Front Passenger Side External Flood Lamp.

They consider it a bulb and that’s not covered by warranty.

Yea it was!  Ordered one from GM parts based on the other post. When I went to replace it, turns out the plug had worked loose. Put the plug back on and it worked perfect!!

Even worse when the problem was really a loose harness.  Time for another dealer.
