Intermediate horn lock with key fob

18 Silverado. Horn works from steering wheel no problem, but the problem is locking the truck with key fob. Sometimes it lets out a quiet honk. Most of the time no honk. Sometimes it does the normal honk. I have reset all the settings inside the truck multiple times checked settings and it is set to honk. Anyone had this problem? I locked it plenty, then unlocked and relocked, it let out a very quiet honk and then it let out a loud honk. I’m used to a honk and I know a single blink from headlights means it is locked but still it makes me nervous when I don’t hear it. Where should I start? I’m hoping someone else has had this issue.

Maybe time for a new battery in the fob? Does not hurt to replace after 4 plus years.

I've just started having this issue with my 2018. Anyone know if changing the fob battery fixed the issue?
