This is why my truck didn’t ship on time

Ok guys after few text back and forth I got GM to answer some questions this is why my truck got stuck at the plant for two months, here is their text back 

 

Our access to the order is limited as we are not directly involved with the order process here in Customer Care. The last event was listed as it being produced. I'm able to see that there was a recent hold for Air Conditioning being installed in the vehicle but that the hold appears to be removed at this time and now the vehicle is in line for shipping. The next step is for it to be shipped! I can say I haven't seen many vehicle's stay in the status I've provided you today for much longer. This was a recent update as I've said, with a hold released. I recommend that you reach out to your dealership for more information or check back with us tomorrow to see if there's an update with your status. I do believe that some orders with update are generally released on Tuesdays but I can't say with 100% certainty.

Do you guys think the ac fail on final inspection or they didn’t have part to finish the build ?

My guess is supplies issue.  Probably were waiting on HVAC controls or some other component (compressor).
