As I procrastinate doing the air bags I decided to tackle the rear lights, I tie them into the bed lights. Rigid ignite diffused flush mounts fit on the flat surface of the bumper steps, they offer 1000 lumens each. Here’s some pics. https://www.rigidindustries.com/ignite-diffused-black-flush-mount-20631.html

From this harness the blue wire is hot and black is ground. It’s the bed light wire. I like manual control. I use this as much on road to warn people behind me of emergency situations ahead, or brutal fog so I don’t rear ended, or to wake up dicks with high beams on plus field work with downed game or even backing up assistance in dark. Manual control at will is wonderful with button on dash.

I’ll add some night time pics later but you cannot look at these, blinding. Pics can’t show that.

Easy install, straight forward, 1.75” hole saw. No hardware run required.

So good news is they work in reverse and park but bad news they don’t work in drive, slight bummer. GM messin with my fun. Other good news is much brighter than expected and I’m used to rigid lights, like brighter than my headlights lol. Pretty awesome for how tiny they are. It wasn’t even fully dark yet when I grabbed those pictures.

NIce, and thse look bright enough to be supplemental front driving lights!

I was thinking the same thing, you’d want flood or spot up front to push the light out further but they would likely install easy enough up front also.

I don't know Canadian law, but in most states its illegal to have white lights to the rear while in driving.  (obviously not in reverse)
