Mirrors auto adjust to a wacky setting

Hi. Can't find an answer to my small but vexing problem. 2018 High Country 3500 Duramax. 
Each time I turn on the key the power mirrors self adjust off where I had them to an unuseable setting, requiring me to reset the outside mirrors every time I drive the truck. I have tried all the instructions in the manual for personalisation etc but the mirrors won't stop their crazy behavior. Is there a way to make them stay put? Thanks.

Have you recently switched key fobs?

They are numbered one and two. If you originally saved settings to the one fob and then use number two it won't recognize your settings. If that's not the issue then disconnect the battery and then reprogram your settings.

I had the same problem.  I turned off the memory exit seat and memory recall.  It hasn't happened in a month since turning these settings off so I am thinking it is the memory buttons on the door going bad or bcm glitch.
