2013 Silverado LT tpms rcdlr module

When i 1st got the truck back in 2013 the tpms were working just fine rotated the tires at the shop they programed the senaors all fine. Then around 2014 the light came up and at the dealership they rotated the tires and told me they were unavle to program the tpms again. I told them it was ok i was in a hurry and ever since then i cant get it program. Got new sensors it did not work, took it to 3 different dealerships they were una le. Took it to a tire shop they used a programing tool on the tires and nothing. My truck will not enter the learning process using the keyfobs it did not come with a DIC so i got one and sure it game me more options but the learning mode is not listed. Got a new rcdlr module programed at a shop that had a tech 2 programer and it did not fix the issue.

 

One person did tell me that the BCM is not even detecting the module but then how do my keyfobs work? They can also see the keyfobs listed on the tech2 scaner and they added 2 more and all 4 work but still cant get it in to learning mode. 

 

Been searching and im now so damn confused. Read something about valet mode and dont even know is 2007 to 2013 silverados have such thing, so please any help is greatly appreciated.

 

Also the 2 new keyfobs have the remote start button my truck has the AP8 code i press the button and lights just flash 2 times and nothing else happens.

That must be frustrating!  It is possible that the wrong sensors were used or they are dead for whatever reason.

 

Where do you live?  Florida?  You might consider buying your own Tech-2 to get this resolved, it will certainly pay for itself with just this repair.

 

Remote start does not work if there are pending trouble codes in the ECM.  New remotes have to be programmed to the truck and the Tech-2 can do that as well.
