2018 sierra 1500 denali suspension question

So my truck needs new front shocks/struts as per the dealer saying they are leaking. truck is in for the third time with tyranny issues. not sure what they did this time as i'm still waiting.

but anyways they are telling me it's 3000 for the front struts. this is Canadian. does this sound right?

3k in struts would net you an awefreakinsome set of (4) badazz aftermarket shocks and struts... 

 

Skip the dealer and go aftermarket.

Idk exactly as I am not knowledgeable on those. However I know there is a conversion kit to install regular struts. It would still be a better way to go if you plan to keep the truck.
