Hey guys. 
 

my pick-up’s transfer case has a terrible noice when engaged. 
 

when not engaged I hear a loud whining noise which I assume is coming from the same area!

 

I have located a good used transfer case but am wondering if there are specific ones for certain trucks or are they all the same from 09-13?

 

appreciate any help available
