USMC82 Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 I just lifted my 2020 trailboss 5.3v8 10 speed tranny and put 20x10 rims with 35x12.50 mts. The problem I am having is on the highway it won't stay in gear it keeps down shifting. I wanted to regear it with 4:10s and get rid of the stock 3:23s but apparently that isn't a option. I'm told they have not came out with gearing for the front diff only the rear. Anyone dealing with thus and have a suggestion? 1
CamGTP Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 You don't need 4.10's with a 10 speed auto, 3.73's would be all you really need. And that is correct, 4.10's are not offered for those year trucks. If 3.73's are offered on those trucks, you can switch to those. Then pay the high price to have the truck tuned for it.
