A minor leak has developed in the sliding rear window of my 2020 GMC Sierra. I see where there is a service bulletin related to this and they address this issue under warranty. My truck is just out of warranty so am I stuck with paying/fixing this on my own? It only shows up when I wash it, not when raining so I have time to think about it.

thanks

Its only going to get worse. You can try to see if a dealer will fix it in good faith, but be prepared to be denied. In that case, follow this tutorial:

DIY Sliding window leak repair

I did it after my window was replaced, have not yet experienced the leak returning (and I live in the Seattle area).

If it's not that far out of warranty I'd call the dealer and see. They may fix it if not too long. My 20 started leaking back in 21 I had the GM fix done and it leaked the day I drove it home. The dealer replaced the window with a new one installed by a glass company. I've been good ever since.
