2008 GMC Sierra FPCM location

Hello,

 

I have a 2008 GMC Seirra 1500, 5.3 Flex Fuel (LMG). I am not getting 12V to my fuel pump and would like to diagnose the FPCM. The problem is, I can't find it!

 

According to the documentation I have, it should be located above the spare tire OR on the LH frame. I can say with 100% certainty that it is not in either of those locations. I've been all over the truck, it just doesn't seem to exist. Is there anyway a 2008 truck could not have a FPCM? I've heard of some 2007s without it, but not 2008s. All the service manuals/shops that I have spoke with said it should have one.

 

Thoughts?

LMG does not use a Fuel Pump Control Module. Old school fuel pump relay. Located in the under hood fuse block.
