bikernut Posted January 29, 2023 Posted January 29, 2023 when adding fuel to our 2001 GMC Yukon AL the service engine light comes on. This is a pain in the butt having to keep going to our shop and getting the light checked and deleted. Any body got any I ideas on what causes this? Thanks for any help
swathdiver Posted January 29, 2023 Posted January 29, 2023 Just like the other forum, what are the codes?
bikernut Posted January 30, 2023 Author Posted January 30, 2023 well I didn't record them as they only show up when refueling and go away until I fill up again so that told me that there isn't any problem until that time.
CamGTP Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 The code will help us tell you what is causing the issue. It's likely all tied to the EVAP system but we'd need the code to tell you what part. The evap canister and the vent valve are common issues.
bikernut Posted January 30, 2023 Author Posted January 30, 2023 well at the moment the vehicle is parked until we get 4 to fix it or at least find out what it's problem(s) is/are
