when adding fuel

when adding fuel to our 2001 GMC Yukon AL the service engine light comes on. This is a pain in the butt having to keep going to our shop and getting the light checked and deleted. Any body got any I ideas on what causes this? Thanks for any help

The code will help us tell you what is causing the issue.

It's likely all tied to the EVAP system but we'd need the code to tell you what part. The evap canister and the vent valve are common issues.
