2021 AT4 LM2 Cruise Control Issue

Has anybody with a 3.0 LM2 truck had their cruise control suddenly stop working?
Mine went out 2 days ago. I thought it might be a temporary thing.

Drove the yesterday and the CC still wasn't working.

Stopped by the local GMC dealer (I'm visiting family in Phoenix, live in MT) and they scanned for codes and couldn't find any that would explain why CC wasn't working. Scheduled an appointment for next Wednesday.

I thought it might be a fuse issue. The F17 fuse circuit powers the steering wheel controls but I'm able to switch between standard CC and adaptive CC plus I can scroll through the DIC menus. So that can't be it.

I'll be heading back to MT later this month and I'd much rather have CC than not.

If not resolved before my dealer appointment I'll post what the dealer found out.

Is the check engine light on?  Is the traction control turned off?

 

Both of those would stop the cruise from working.

front pedestrian alert disabled message on mine but affects cruise, blind spot alert and several other things due to bad module i am told.

I just went out and took a little spin to see if CC was on. It wasn't. Duh. I had had it on for so long where all I had to do was use the left scroll wheel to set or resume CC. I had become used to that routine.

 

Somehow it got turned off almost assuredly by me. Everything works as it should.

 

Guess I need to call the dealership and cancel my appointment.
