Time for plugs. Any compelling reason one way or another whether or not I change wires with plugs the first time around?

I was think just plugs this time.

Back when I used to do my own maintenance I would always replace the factory wires because inevitably they were crap. Nowadays, I'm not so sure and I tend to prefer to keep my vehicles stock.

Being a coil-over-valvecover system, the plug wires don't generally see the same heat that they used to when they ran from the back of the engine to the front beneath/above/through the exhaust manifolds.  I wouldn't bother replacing the plug wires unless the boots are cracked or degraded.

Not sure if I’d replace them or not, but generally speaking if I’m working on something and I have to remove an adjacent part, I give serious consideration to replacing the adjacent part.  I don’t know if the plug wires would fit into that category, but I’d definitely consider it and if I concluded that it’s not much additional work to replace them then I’d do so.
