2007 GMC Sierra SLE Wiring Harness Question

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have access to the wiring harness schematic?

Our truck appears to have the tow package stock but I'm trying to determine whether or not the wiring for an after-market trailer brake to be installed already exists or if the wire will have to be ran. Any guidance would be appreciated!

My 2005 209K came with hitch and 7 wire harness.

From what I have read, you need an intermediate part to apply electric brakes to the trailer.

There should be a bundle of wires under the dash to the left of the brake pedal, bound wit white tape that are the leads that need to be connected to the brake controller. etrailer.com has a very good guide.
