2016 mylink w/ bose

Hello everyone, 

I'm new to this forum  i have a 2016 silverado 3500 with the factory bose sub seeking for help. I installed a custom ported sub box I built tuned to 31Htz underneath my rear seat with a kicker 1200.1 amp. I tapped into the factory bose amp behind the rear seat to the factory sub wiring. I'm having an issue playing anything under 50 htz... should I have tapped into the front speakers instead ?  Is this a common issue with factory bose systems ?

Disable the ANC mic in the headliner.

Thank you, I will try that this weekend. I was reading up on it however I learned the anc is only activated with the engine running. Even on accessory with the doors open I can't get anything to play on lower frequencies.  Don't get me wrong this thing sounds great with certain music but I'm just not happy with the upgrade. I hope disabling the mics helps.
