I'm looking for a little more insight than the KBB here... It's a 99 Suburban here's what it has

LT package (what ever the top one was back in the day, leather seats..blah blah blah)

110K mile....a NEW jasper 350 was put in about 8K miles ago

New stock tranny about 6K miles ago

Whipple SC

Head rests have LCD's

TV tuner

VCR

Karin Navigation system which can recieve the signal from vcr, and tv tuner

gibson exaughst

17 inch american racing wheels

z-rated tires-I dunno which brand

Alpine alarm I dunno what model

My sister think the thing is hexed, since in the past 6 months she's replaced the engine/tranny/alarm.....she's basically had it and is thinking about selling it and getting something new.....how much do you think it's worth.

KBB says-17415....with the addition of a new engine and tranny, SC, and other doodads what do you think she could get for it.

Thanks

TMF

BTW....it still looks great, and has never been in an accident, except for the rear passenger fender flare which has some paint from a post in a parking garage.

I don't think that the new engine and trans is gonna help the value, seeing as how they BOTH went out in a relative time frame I would assume that that burb has had the shi....crap beaten out of it.

350s last forever when driven normally, me (19) and my brother (25) split a 96 350 vortec truck,he bought it when he graduated from highschool (new) and I got it when I graduated, and it reached 333 km's on both the stock engine and trans and was going strong when I sold it, your burb has been pounded or neglected IMO.

The SC is cool but If I was looking for a new truck I wouldn't even consider buying one with a powerful external mod like that, cuz it is there for one reason, to mash the gas and go fast but that beats the hell out of the internals.

Not bashing your sister or you but this is MO.

EDIT: I ran a trade in report for that truck and I got 4,780 in fair condition, i ran it as "fair" cuz it has body damage or markings, and 5790 for good condition, good condition is good paint and drivetrain, but that sc won't let you go higher, you could get more out of the truck if you removed it.

If people want to pay 17415 for 99 burb with 110k, they will go to the dealer to get one with a 30 day/1k mile warranty, you will see probably 12K selling it privately.

I'm not being negative twards you or anyone, Its just hard to pull a good price out of your used truck now a days with all this zero percent crap.
