I have a 2000 silverado 4.3 engine.it was stolen a couple of months back and ive been working on it and my biggest problem now is that theres an electrical issue my temp gauge or my gas gauge don’t work,A/C controls dont work and my wipers dont work, also my battery keeps dying over night.does anyone have idea of where i could start looking? Ive checked all the fuses and none of them are damaged

How did they steal it? maybe  the ignition switch, not the lock cylinder is damaged

When the scum tried stealing mine, they smashed the ignition lock so hard they broke the switch behind the cylinder and the housing itself. Bought a complete replacement column from the junkyard and it is now good as new. I hope this helps.

Agreed, you have short of some kind (yeah, duh) but where (of course) is the question. The other guys suggested looking where the scum defeated the ignition. It's something that has B+ on it all the time (unswitched) the ignition/neutral safety switch is where I would look first.
