2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ Crew Cab 6.2L - Right Rear Turn Indicator Failure message in DIC and Hyperflash

Recently started experiencing issues with the right rear turn signal on my 2017 Silverado. It is an LTZ so it is an LED assembly. First step to troubleshoot was checking all connectors and cleaning them between the BCM under the bed and the assembly itself. This didn't resolve the issue. Second step was taking to the dealer where they checked fuses, grounds, and connectors. They recommended to replace the right rear brake light assembly and harness. Replaced this and the issue still persists. Tried new harness on old light, still same issue. Sometimes the right rear indicator failure message will not appear when driving, but most of the time the message pops up after 3 blinks and then hyperflash. Any ideas on what this issue could be? Recently experienced after a transfer case service and transmission flush. Vehicle has 65K miles and out of warranty. Last year had a wiring issue with trailer brake and BCM that was caused by corrosion. Just looking for additional ideas to troubleshoot.

I am having same problem with my 2017 silverado high country. I have replaced the light and rear harnes too and still have the problem. I read that one guy had a  as me issue and the dealer found a bare wire on harness from engine to rear of truck. I have yet to check these wires yet. I was wondering if there is a flasher in these trucks
