So I have a 2019 silverado LT new body style with heated seats my drivers is power but passenger manual. I found a set of 2020 gmc sierra power heated and ventilated seats front and rear to upgrade to. I assume they are bolt on but will they be plug and play for both driver and passenger. I am not too worried about lift and lumbar on the passenger seat only back and forth and that the heated seat works. Please let me know if you’ve done the upgrade and what would happen if I just plug them right in or if they even would plug together.  Thank you

I'm going through the same thing as you did. 2020 Sierra Elevation. Stock cloth/manual seats. Upgraded to power heated leather in the front. The power works fine, but the heat does not (even installed the OEM dash buttons on the HVAC control). I also verified my truck as the factory wiring and fuses for heat. Nobody will help reprogram the BCM to allow it to communicate with the seat heater control module. So, the power will work in your passenger seat, but the cooling will probably not, and the rear heated seats will also probably not work. Let me know if you find a way to get it to work, or a dealership to help reprogram. I've called at least 6 GMC/Chevy dealer who all tell me it can't be done.

Ok thanks I didnt think the hvac would work which is fine. Did you have heated seats from the factory and they didn’t work on the new seats when you plugged them in? I am only worried now that the heated seats wouldn’t work on the driver and passenger when I plug my new seats in

Going to keep a tab on this, I'm going thru this as well on my Silverado baby diesel.

Equipped with cloth seats with heat and only power on the driver side and manual on the passenger side.

I swapped out the rear bench seat to the leather ones i found, they came with a harness that my truck didn't come equipped with (heated option i'm assuming), just ziptied it outta the way.

Put in both the passenger and driver seats and didn't get power to either one.  I already didn't have power on the passenger so i figured I'd need to pigtail power from the driver to the passenger.  But the drivers side didn't work either even though i already had power option originally.  Kinda stumped, I'll keep looking for a solution.

You need WAMS White Automotive and Media Services.  I added factory heated rear seats and added cool seats to my heated with programming with WAMS+ autosync.
