Google assistant message "I'm offline so I can't do that ......"

Within a minute or so of start 2022 Silverado 1500 there is SOMETIMES (not 100%) an audio message that I believe based on the voice is coming from Google assistant.  "I'm offline so I can't do that."  Then something like "But in the meantime you can play the radio ..." (and do a few other things).

 

What is the "THAT" that she thinks I'm trying to do?  I do not have the data plan, so I can understand why offline.

 

Quite annoying.

Go in to setting  then apps and permissions. Find google assistant and deactivated it and I also deactivated google maps. I use apple car play so no need for either. I no longer get the I’m offline so I can’t do that announcement.  I think if you still need these enabled there is a check mark you can uncheck to not allow announcements on both of them.

I’ve turned mine off and it still comes on and says she’s useless. What’s the deal?
