Anyone found the right covers for the forward stake pockets?

I have a ‘21 Sierra HD that I had opened up the forward stake pockets for mounting a rack. Now I’m not using the rack and would like to cover up the pockets. 
 

Trying to search for the covers is a challenge because the market is flooded with the covers for the rear odd-shaped pockets that are uncovered from the factory. So it’s not an issue covering the rear pockets, but I can’t seem to find the right covers for the forward pockets.

 

I measured the hole and it appears to be around 1.5” x 2.5”. From what I can tell, the pockets for the pre-2019 models are slightly wider, the covers are 1.75” wide, so I’m not sure they will fit.

 

Anyone have any luck finding covers for the front pockets?

There likely won't be any because they are molded part of that entire upper plastic rail protector, and are cut out if certain accessories are to be installed that need to use the front stake.

Right, but the pockets _are_ meant to be opened, so it makes sense that you may want to cover them up again. I have to assume the right size cover exists out there somewhere...

But because it was a molded cap, there isn't a replacement once its opened...

 

Aftermarket makes rear ones for the big hand pockets at the rear, but nothing for the front.

Stick some tie down rings in there. Covers the hole and is useful for tying items down. Win/Win

What did you use to open up the front covers?  I'm getting a removable rack for my truck and will need access to the front stake pockets.  Sucks there is no cover to put back in place when rack is removed, guess I'll have to attempt to make some sort of covers for them.

You might try someone with a 3d printer. I have the rear pocket covers but never saw anything for the front.

Perhaps some retractable hold downs?

yep, that would definitely be the way to go if unable to make some sort of caps.
