Multi pro tailgate (when working properly) gets hung up on hard tri fold bed cover.

I just picked up a 2021 sierra Dinali and put a trifold cover on the back. Now the multi pro gets hung up slightly and does not automatically drop down. Has anybody else had this issue and what have yall done? I don’t want to go cutting into a $700 cover to remove some of the weather stripping. I’m still waiting to hear back from the covers manufacturer, but just wanted to see if anybody had any advice I can use in the meantime. Thanks.

No issues with my GM branded BakFlip. You might be able to adjust it forward and help it?

My BackFlip MX4 hung up a little on my MultiPro, I just moved it up a tiny bit and no more issues but the seal isn't tight against the tailgate and I get some water running down the tailgate when it rains. I moved this cover from my 19 High Country to my 23 Denali, no issues with the powerup / down on my 19 HC with the BakFlip.

Good deal. Thanks for the advice I’m gonna give it another shot with a second pair of hands and try to shimmy it forward a bit further.
