Are Dorman actuators better than those $20 ones from rock auto

Normally, Dorman is just as good or better IME. I bought some door springs for my S 10, the springs that were in there when I got the truck wouldn't hold the door open and neither will the Dorman springs, tomorrow I'm going to the bone yard!

Dorman actuators don't last either.  GM OE is the way to go.
