Rear latch broke on my tonneau cover

Hi,

 

Rear latch broke on my tonneau cover for my truck bed. I can’t seem to find a replacement latch/trigger. Anyone know where to find a replacement? 

 

My tonneau model number: LGH-B55

 

I have a 2021 sierra 1500 crew cab. 

 

Short Bed/Box: 69.9 inches

If that is a GM cover you can contact the dealer parts dept. and ask them who makes it for the life of me I cant remember who makes it for GM and go that route but it appears the 2 above sites it is the same except for the slide holes but you could always drill it out and make your slide holes.

Thanks for the reply. I actually purchased that exact one. Tried to install it yesterday and it doesn’t fit. The width is to short.

Another option would be if you can take your old latch apart and the new one you bought apart and see if the nylon latch clip is the same and swap it.

My advise is to deep dixyoyr existing cover and purchase one which does not require any tools or drilling of any kind to install or remove.

 

Gator Tailback…. Not cheap but is is well made and lasts… also if you wanted to put a chair and sit on it… no problem…

it supports 500 pounds

Thanks for the reply. Optimally I’d like to fix this one for $15-50 bucks to avoid buying a new one.

I wish you had provided more info, or better pictures, on the make/model of the tonneau.  It kind looks like a Retrax cover, but also doesn't look identical.  Retrax provides GM tonneau covers under a different label.  If it's their off brand you might be about to find replacement parts on Retrax's website.

Nope, unfortunately not. Just found whole kits to replace the whole thing. How about you?
