I have a 2022 GMC Sierra refreshed model with the 5.3. I have installed a lift kit with 325-60/20 tires and 10 inch rims. They haven't been able to unlock the computer in these trucks yet so I'm unable to calibrate my speedometer for the bigger tires. It reads about 4kph higher now and I thought it was going to add extra kms to the odometer. But I tested it out and it's not adding extra kms it's the exact amount when I tested it. Just wondering if maybe it doesn't go by the wheel rotations for this truck now?

Bigger tires should be less on the speedometer.

When I put 38s on my lifted 2018,  70 mph GPS read 59 on the speedometer

After my lift and 35's I got one of Rough Country's speedometer correction modules and it input my tire size and stock size and it not only recalibrated the speedometer but also made the shift points better (at least it felt that way)

+1 for this. I went from a 265/65/18 (31.5" tire) to a 275/70/18 (33" tire) and the rough country calibrator was easy to use and worked great. wasn't too expensive either compared to others

How did you "test" it?  If you change your tire size, your speedometer, odometer, and MPG number are going to be off.  Even if just by a tiny bit, it will affect the ODO and MPG pretty significantly.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, there is no way to calibrate a refresh truck and there is no translator box yet that can be used as a workaround.  Hopefully there will be soon.

There is no devices that work on refresh.  The inline calibrators on the market will work on 2019-2022 pre refresh ONLY.

Also.

Some food for thought on the likely potential problems using one of those inline calibrators:

GM will deny warranty if found.   These also cause errors during vehicle programming at the dealership if not found or removed before programming the vehicle.
