Just wanted to add that the GMC HD models all have LED headlights and tail lights, including the Pro model. I think the LTZ Chevy is the model that adds LED headlights. Something to think about as I read posts here about updating to LED headlights. Big price difference between Chevy Custom and LTZ. -
There's no additional mounting brackets for the grille or headlights. The only difference between the grill mounting is the active grill shutter frame to which the grille attaches too. There is a slight difference between the older and newer shutter frame, but you CAN reuse your existing one. There'll just be a couple clips that won't attach to anything. The headlights fasten exactly the same. The only brackets you'll need are a couple for the bumper. -
alldata.com will have the torque specs for all those bolts. -
maybe make sure both the hub and the rim surfaces are flat and corrosion free? I know for both my '04 and '12 3500, which are both duallies, I've had the rear wheel lugs loosen sometimes, after tightening, then driving a bit and then re-torquing them. The fronts also sometimes, but much less common vs the rears. And if you have the flanged flat face (vs the acorn style) lug nuts, make sure the flange part can spin easily. I spray some fluid film on the outside and work it into the groove until the flange can spin easily, making sure not to get FF on the threads. This seems to have helped with the lugs getting properly torqued, so they stay tight.
