I have 60k on a 2020 Denali Duramax 3500. Some towing... bobcat skid steers, small camper, snowmobiles... nothing too heavy.... seems like the ride is getting a bit rough lately. At what point should I consider new shocks? What are you guys seeing for life from stock shock absorbers?

Thanks...

If it has the OEM "Ranchos", you could have changed them when you drove it home. Other than that, the Bilstein 5100 or 4600 series are very good replacements. Some have gotten a set of Fox shocks, too.

I changed mine out before 25k miles and have been very happy with the improved ride and handling, especially when loaded. I went with the Bilstein 5100s. The stock shocks were already shot, but no visible leaks.

Ranchos are maybe a hair above ac delcos...a big MAYBE....its a bad design to begin with....anything will be improvement......

I took a set off a 1500 and broke a seal compressing it by hand.....its cheapest they could do calling it "off road"

Eibach, bilstein and of course it goes up from there
