I've had this 2023 Silverado LTZ 3.0 for a little over a month now and I really like it. After a couple of weeks, I started noticing some strange issues when I try to start it. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 seconds for the starter to engage and sounds like the starter bumps and stops and at the same time I feel a push back on the brake pedal. I've had this happen then right after it starts normal. It has done this after it did the autostop at a stoplight. I try to remember to turn that off as soon as I start the truck.

Within the last week I've been seeing other issues this one has happened 3 times. The truck starts normal then the info screen between the speedo and tach says roll down drivers window then roll down passenger window then after it goes to whatever screen I had it on.

Today after a bump pedal push start the info screen says Service power steering drive carefully then goes away to normal screen. Truck steers fine.

No check engine light and the gauges look normal.

Anyone ever have or know anything about this?  I do not have any good dealerships her to take it to and it is so intermittent I doubt they would try too hard to find the issue.

One of the issues that irritates me the most about new GM vehicles are the electrical gremlins shortly after purchase.  Taking it to the dealer usually results in a "cannot replicate problem" result and no service being performed.  Ironically, these problems usually sort themselves out.  So wouldn't hurt to have the dealer take a look though

I agree with the cannot duplicate. I dealt with that a lot with my '11 LML and regen.  The dealer I bought it from is over an hour drive but I guess they should get first shot at cannot duplicate.

It's still doing this and this morning I went out to start it to turn it around in the driveway and I pushed the start button and a couple of warning lights flashed and nothing. Black display nothing when I pushed the started button. Tried opening and closing the door, tried to get out and lock it but it wouldn't lock opened it back up tried again nothing. Went and got my battery tester and hooked it up it took a long time to run the test, had me turn on the lights then off, it said battery was good. Got in and tried to start and it started right up.

This is frustrating and seems to be getting worse. After we did the chore around the house I started it up to move it back to its spot and as soon as it started it said Application not available raise and lower the windows. I'm retired so I don't drive it everyday. I drove it the day before and let it run for 15 mins while it did an app update. Is there a battery drain or possibly just a bad brand new battery? Does it need to be driven everyday? The dealer I bought from is 80 miles away so just dropping it by isn't a thing.  Anyone else ever have this or is this a new issue?

There is no reason why the selling dealer has to be the one you use for service.

The 'included' warranty oil changes can be done at any of them.

(some dealers include extra oil changes above the GM ones, that likely aren't transferable)

At most dealers (especially large ones) sales and service they are separate profit centers -- so the service folks would be happy for your business even if purchased somewhere else.

Long story (which I'll skip), but for several years and several vehicle purchases in a row, I've been unable to close a purchase with the dealer that I've been using for most service work.

No, you shouldn't have to drive it every day.

Yes, sometimes new batteries are faulty or fail early.

Yes, there could be a fault causing a parasitic drain above the 'normal' level.

Is you battery tester a 'load tester' like what would be used at a battery shop or vehicle service place.

It is a multi use meter, it reads trouble codes and has a battery tester.

I'm not al all happy with the local dealerships that's why I bought in another city. The locals wouldn't or couldn't fix my '11 LML.
