Torque converter

The dealer is likely the most expensive option in my opinion. If you know of an independent transmission shop, they are likely cheaper. Might be worth it for them to open it up and inspect the pump to make sure it's not damaged if there is metal in the oil.

Dealer is going to be the most expensive option for sure!  When I bought my 2018 back in June, one of the MAIN reasons I purchased the truck was because it had the TQ converter replaced. It had 37k on it, well taken care of by older gentlemen, and I just really love this body style. When I test drove it, it was night and day difference between this 2018 Denali and the 2018 SLT I had back in 2018. My dealership would never fix it, they just repeatedly re-flashed the tranny. It frustrated me so much that I traded it off.  Regret it to this day.
