Unlock Spare Tire 2024 GMC Sierra Ultimate

Is there a simple instruction on how to "Unlock the Spare Tire" from the 2024 GMC Denali Ultimate?  I find nothing in the owners manual.

Use your key to remove the lock mechanism on your rear bumper. It will be a small black circular cover that opens revealing a key hole. I think it’s a quarter turn and then the  whole lock will come out. Then you use the long rod and jack tools to lower the wheel from under the bed. Those are under your back seat

The key to the spare tire lock is on your key fob just push the little button on the side edge of the fob and remove the key that attaches to the key ring then insert the key in the cylinder and turn a 1/4 turn and pull out the cylinder.
