24 -1500 With a Alarm/Alert Sound - Help Identifying

I recently purchase a new 2024 Silverado 1500 RST with the All Star Premium package.  It has the 3.0L Duramax engine for reference.  In the past few days (roughly 4 days into owning the truck) it started making an alert/alarm noise.  First it was a single note that has progressed up to a 8 note sound.  You can hear it in the video below.   Does anyone know what this could be?  The dash is empty of alerts and no alarm lights are on.   There is no rhyme or reason for when this alert happens either.  Sometimes it happens right after remote starting, other times its 1-4 minutes into driving down the road.  IT only happens once and will not happen again until I turn the truck off and restart it.

Aftermarket Lojack of some sort the dealer must have installed.  Could be an anti theft tracker. 

 

I'd imagine it was part of some "package" your dealer installs on every car they get that everyone has to pay for because they "add it in".

Thanks for the response, that is kind of what I was thinking also.  They did install some GPS device but its suppose to be deactivated because I didn't pay for the service.

Seems you need to have them remove it...

 

Definitely not a noise I've ever heard from a GM truck

I was able to location the dealer installed gps unit under the dash.  It was easy to remove due to it only having a power and ground wire.  The sound is gone!
