Saw a recall on my 2024 AT4HD this past weekend on the myGMC app for not always charging. Checked the aux battery with a voltmeter and verified that it was charging with the truck running. Called the dealer for an appointment and it was today. They reprogrammed the BCM. While it was in progress, I received a message from Onstar that my tire pressures were 32psi, front and rear. I asked the service manager if they were adjusting my tire pressures, he said it wasn't part of the recall. I informed him that I keep at 55psi font and rear as I'm not towing 16k pounds. The update set my tire placard on myGMC back to 60psi/70psi, actual pressures were 55psi. I set it back to 55psi/55psi when I got home with my Autel TS508.

I haven't received the tailgate recall yet.

Don't happen to know of a step by step youtube video showing how to perform this function? Have the same 508, but afraid of screwing up.

@gemarsh

I’ll make a video tomorrow. I had to do the latest update on my Autel TS508 to get it to work. My truck is a 2024 built in Nov 2023 and had to select a 2023 GMC. The Autel update added 2024 GMCs.

Then I’ll have to figure out how to add a video.

Thank you for doing that. Will be doing a 22 and 23 hd, but I might as well do the update.

Yes, that’s it. Now I don’t have to make a video!

I saved that video in case I get amnesia! 😀

Thanks for bringing this up. I knew I had the tool, just a chicken ****** to do it. Now to adjust pressure after tires cool down...

@gemarsh Glad it worked out for you!! I usually let my truck sit for 3 hours or so before adjusting tire pressures.
