@Kerry Pulaski

Thanks for the info. I saw the Scotch fastener in your pic, will go that route if I put a socket under the console. If I can find a place for the GM OEM 12v socket, I'll fuse it at 15A as that it appears to be rated for that. I found a 20A rated 12v socket by Bulldog Winch that would work under the console with one of the 3 mounting options.

The harness on the drivers side comes through behind the brake pedal straight up, you have to be on the floor under the pedal looking up the firewall to see it.

Hopefully, you aren't talking about the 3M scotchlock fasteners...never use those.

Not talking about those. There is a Scotch fastener in Kerry's post, almost like velcro but not.

Removed the dash panels today from right to left. Sadly, none of the panels had an open area behind them to mount a GM 12v socket. If anyone wants a GM lighter socket and retainer, GM part numbers: 25774623 and 13549530, you are welcome to them. Will mail them to ya.

Will have to go a different route. Maybe @Kerry Pulaski will let me know how he got the wiring to the inside of the console and the back of the console. I'm guessing he ran it down the left side of the console inside of the panels but sure how he got it to the hole for the wiring.
