debo4x4 Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 anybody think they would fit without a body lift?
Boudreaux38134 Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 anybody think they would fit without a body lift? I've got 305x70's on mine, and they fit fine. No lift, no cranking the torsion bars. With the wheels fully cranked, I still have more than 1 - 1 1/2" clearance to the fender liner. I have seen some that rub, but in most cases it was because the brake line was pushing the fender liner in more than it should have been. A little adjustment of the brake line and the rub was gone.
Boudreaux38134 Posted February 14, 2004 Posted February 14, 2004 what wheels to you have? I have the factory wheels with Mastercraft Courser ATs. They are a pretty good all around. I was out looking at some property the other day and I sunk in the mud a good three inches. Since it was farm land, it was the really thick and slippery mud and I had no problems getting out. (I did have to throw it in 4 lo, but it drove right out.) I will try and get some pics this weekend.
robz71 Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Check my sig but I have a Rancho lift. They might fit as long as you never go offroad if you crank the tbars.
Chad H Posted February 19, 2004 Posted February 19, 2004 Does anybody know if BFGoodrich All terrain's in 305/70's would fit and not rub on my Z-71?? This is the perfect thread for this anyway. I have 285 dueler m/t's right now. I have a set of Ford Key's that are gonna be put on next week so I can lift it in the front more. I wanna order these tires now, so I need quick help!!
tom f Posted February 19, 2004 Author Posted February 19, 2004 I have a cousin with no lift, but torsion raised and they dont scrub at all,he runs goodyear mtrs 305/70/16 on stock.i'm sure that will not rub.
